Love God . Love Others

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

As a member of Healing Place Church, I agree to live a life fully devoted to God by:

Pursuing a life of integrity, purity and humility before the Lord. ( Colossians 3:17 )

Refraining from any activity that would grieve the heart of God and possibly cause someone in your ministry area to stumble. Some of the stumbling blocks that we have seen to be detrimental include, but are not limited to sexual immorality ( refraining from same sex relationships, transgenderism or any attempt to change one’s biological sex, cohabitation, premarital sex or affairs ), domestic violence and substance abuse ( we ask that you refrain from drinking or having alcohol at your group meetings as we are a church that intentionally reaches out to those recovering from addictions ). – ( 1 Cor 8:9-13Romans 1:26-3214:1-231 Corinthians 6:9-10Philippians 2:14-151 Corinthians 10:31 )

Submitting to pastors and staff leadership as well as the ministry leaders in the area(s) where you serve.

Cultivating unity by representing Christ through the statement of beliefs and philosophy of ministry at HPC and supporting the pastors and staff through your words and actions. Speaking critically of the house where you serve or the leaders that you serve under has the power to cause division and inhibit the work of God through you and through this church ( Psalm 133:1-3 ).

Living above reproach in every area of your life, understanding that as a volunteer at HPC, you represent Christ and this church wherever you go and in whatever you do. This includes what you post to social media ( Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc. ).

Continually looking for ways to grow as a follower of Christ. This would include things like spending time with God in prayer, reading the Bible, reading books, listening to podcasts, reading articles, finding mentors, etc.
