Healing Place Classes

We are honored to offer classes for those eager for a greater knowledge and understanding of God’s Word and how to activate their faith in daily life.

Evening Courses

Evening Courses are 1-2 hour classes held on Tuesday nights during the fall and spring semesters. Students come together in a classroom setting for accelerated, in-depth Bible studies within a community of learners.

"In the beginning..." Start the new year with a class that helps give context to your one year bible reading and the storyline of scripture. We will share about the founding fathers of our faith and how God moved through their families to bring hope his people.

You asked for it! In this introductory apologetics class, we will dive into some of the most challenging and thought-provoking subjects in theology. Together, we will explore themes such as angels and demons, heaven and hell, evolution and creation, and the question of a good God and suffering. Our discussions aim to equip us with the tools to wrestle with our questions and doubts and defend our faith confidently and thoughtfully.

Healing for Damaged Emotions for Women

New Beginnings

Healing for Damaged Emotions for Women is a Christ-centered class for ladies ages 16 and up who are dealing with emotional pain from the past or present. This class aims to guide women toward emotional balance through an honest examination of past painful experiences. Regardless of the damage you’ve endured, you can embrace God’s love and healing through His Word and the power of the Holy Spirit. The workbook is provided, and the class is free. No childcare available.

Divorce Care is a safe place for men and women to find healing from the pain of separation or divorce. Through videos and small group discussions, you’ll receive helpful counsel to manage the emotional turmoil and practical tools for decision-making.

Financial Peace University

For over 25 years, Dave Ramsey has been teaching commonsense, biblical money principles that work—every time. This course is for everyone! Whether you’re trying to get out of debt or save for retirement, you’ll learn God’s and grandma’s ways of handling money. This course teaches you how to save for emergencies, pay off debt fast, spend wisely, and invest for your future. No matter where you are in your financial journey, FPU helps you reach your goals faster!

Young Married Class - Denham

This class is designed to strengthen and encourage young married couples with Biblical principles, practical teaching and fellowship.

Sunday Courses

They provide an environment to ask difficult questions, share doubts vulnerably, and explore any preconceived notions and misconceptions about God. By the end of these classes, students are more connected to others, more involved in the life of the church, and more confident in sharing their spiritual journey.

There are no graded assignments in this program option.

Grief Share

Grief Share is a support group to help you move through the grief process. A Grief Share support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 8-week class, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Childcare is available in the Arena Nursery & Kids District area.
