Healing Place Classes

We are honored to offer classes for those eager for a greater knowledge and understanding of God’s Word and how to activate their faith in daily life.

Evening Courses

Evening Courses are 1-2 hour classes held on Tuesday nights during the fall and spring semesters. Students come together in a classroom setting for accelerated, in-depth Bible studies within a community of learners.

Bible Intro

Jonah & Ephesians

If you’re new to Classes or are just getting started on your Bible study journey, come join us as we explore two of the most fascinating books in Scripture. We'll start with 5 weeks in the book of Jonah for the classic tale of the man who ran from God’s will right into the belly of a whale, then follow up with 5 weeks in Ephesians to see a beautifully clear explanation of the hope we have in Christ.

The Church is meant to spread the Good News with POWER! This class will go hand-in-hand with an upcoming Sunday sermon series about the birth, growth, and triumph of the first century church and the courageous Christians willing to sacrifice everything for the Kingdom of God.

Financial Peace University

Healing for Damaged Emotions for Women

New Beginnings

Healing for Damaged Emotions for Women is a Christ-centered class for ladies ages 16 and up who are dealing with emotional pain from the past or present. This class aims to guide women toward emotional balance through an honest examination of past painful experiences. Regardless of the damage you’ve endured, you can embrace God’s love and healing through His Word and the power of the Holy Spirit. The workbook is provided, and the class is free. No childcare available.

Marriage Class

New Beginnings

New Marriage, Same Couple is a Christ-centered class and book study for couples going through a tough season in their marriage. This class aims to guide couples toward healing, restoration, and divorce prevention through honest conversation and addressing difficult experiences. It’s a study about hope, focused on creating a different, better, new kind of marriage with the same person—whether you’re currently facing challenges or wanting to avoid them in the future—with vision and hope in the Lord. Recommended reading resources are available for purchase in class or online. No childcare available.

Divorce Care

Divorce Care is a safe place for men and women to find healing from the pain of separation or divorce. Through videos and small group discussions, you’ll receive helpful counsel to manage the emotional turmoil and practical tools for decision-making.

Sunday Courses

They provide an environment to ask difficult questions, share doubts vulnerably, and explore any preconceived notions and misconceptions about God. By the end of these classes, students are more connected to others, more involved in the life of the church, and more confident in sharing their spiritual journey.

Grief Share is a support group to help you move through the grief process. A Grief Share support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 8-week class, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Childcare is available in the Arena Nursery & Kids District area.

The Seek First Course is an 8-week study of the lifestyle that helps us to become more like Jesus. We explore the principles and practices of seeking God first as we view them through the lens of how Jesus taught his followers to live out their purpose in everyday life.
