Healing Place Church has been built on the vision to be a healing place for a hurting world. Pastors Dino and DeLynn Rizzo and the staff at HPC have a passion to express Christ through creative means. In just a short time, God has brought together an incredible team to express his love in practical ways. Community outreaches, rehabilitation programs, and missions' projects of every kind are just a few of the ways that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is shared with countless individuals. HPC is reaching out to the lost and hurting of this world. Filled with compassion and offering hope to the poor, oppressed, and forgotten, HPC is a healing place for a hurting world.
Pastor Dino Rizzo & the HPC Staff
Dino Rizzo has been Lead Pastor of Healing Place Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, since he founded the church in 1993. As a young and passionate pastor called to bring healing to hurting people, Pastor Dino uses his unique preaching style along with various other media to illustrate his biblical messages. His heart inspires Christians to act with "bold love" as they step out of their safety zones, abandon their fears and connect with others.
Pastor Dino encourages each person to find his/her unique, God-given qualities to become the person God created him/her to be and to then become equipped for service. His heart is to reach the unreachable and to see them established in Christ by showing God's love in practical ways and by meeting the physical, as well as spiritual needs of the poor and hurting in South Louisiana and on the mission field.
Through Pastors Dino and DeLynn Rizzo, God has built an incredible team of people in Baton Rouge that love each other, are passionate about Christ and work tirelessly to reach the community and world with the hope of Jesus.
The HPC ARENA
The Healing Place Church Arena is the physical structure that testifies what God has done through us! Looking past the physical structure that will stand on Highland Road, I also see lives that will be changed, families that will be healed, marriages that will be restored and young people that will change the course of history. As hard as we will work to finish construction, we will work even harder to see more souls saved for the kingdom.
